We are able to sell the home to whomever we choose.  Quite honestly, we would much rather sell the home to the current occupant than go through the expensive process of vacating it, fixing it up and putting it on the market.  But you must keep your hopes realistic.  There are a few companies that like to use this sell-back option as an enticement, knowing full-well your chances of doing so are almost zero.  We do not like to guarantee this as an option, because most people in tough financial situations are unable to recover in just a year or two-- much less generate the down payment or credit score required.  That being said, there are no laws preventing us from selling a home back to the person from whom we bought it.

  • They need a solution now, so they can sleep better tonight.

  • They don’t have the extra cash to pay all kinds of fees like real estate agent fees, closing fees, etc.

  • They just want out of the headache this house is giving them.

  • They want to be discrete about the sale-- no signs in their yard, cars pulling up with "I BUY HOUSES" decals, etc.
